Hi, I’m Daniela!

Daniela Arias is a junior at Loyola Marymount University pursuing a major in journalism and a minor in public relations.
Aside from her coursework in journalism and PR, Daniela served as a copy editor for nearly two years at her university’s award-winning student-run newspaper, The Los Angeles Loyolan. While she initially joined as a copy intern, she quickly made her way into the role of copy chief, where she oversaw the team and the editing for every news story getting published.
Outside of her journalism work, Daniela served as a publicist for up-and-coming race car driver Evan McKnight. Working alongside McKnight’s manager, she revamped his social media presence to resonate with a Gen Z audience. She also contributed to the strategy to secure high-profile ambassadorships with Wahlburgers and Mark Wahlberg’s athletic-wear line, Municipal.
In the summer of 2025, Daniela interned at The Creative Space Group, where she worked as a digital marketing intern focused on social media strategy, creating social content based on past client case studies, and expanding the agency’s reach on platforms like Instagram and TikTok. Simultaneously, she served as a PR intern at Step Up, a nonprofit dedicated to providing mentorship programs for young women. She worked on drafting press materials and played a crucial role in helping the nonprofit prepare for its annual Inspiration Awards, an event celebrating its mentorship initiative.
She was able to take her skills overseas in London, working as a U.S. content and creative intern for online fertility and parenting community, The Ribbon Box. Within this role, she was able to support digital marketing efforts for a global audience, craft social media content, and conduct research for the launch of the agency’s AI influencer platform.
Currently, she is a marketing and communications Intern at AIM Youth Mental Health. In the position, she drafts social content, writes and edits press materials, and edits short-form content for the nonprofit’s Instagram.
